Resolved: Studypool owes me a $65 refund and I have had no response in over 2 weeks
refund to my paypal account ..... which took far too long for Studypool to process and required far too much of my time considering that the refund was completely warranted.
I did get a refund from Studypool today, 5 weeks after the initial payment to their website. The process to get my refund was arduous and communications with Studypool only picked up after I posted to this website. So while I will not take down my review here as requested by Studypool (since it documents the issues and inefficiencies in getting a completely warranted refund from them) I will mark the issue as resolved.
After many email exchanges with Amber at Studypool in which she assured me over and over that my payment would be refunded in 10 days to my paypal account ... we have now hit day 10 with no refund.
In fact Amber asked me to show my issue as "resolved" once she advised me she would get me the refund and I stated "not until I see the money in my account".
I am glad I stuck to my guns on that as this follow up proving NO ACTION on their part is further reason that the rest of you should steer clear of studypool !!!! td
I posted a question on Studypool and after 48 hours received an email from studypool that they did not have any tutors submit a response to assist me. It would seem obvious that a refund is therefore in order since no product or service was provided to me.
I have contacted Studypool by email, on their chat support and via a refund request on Paypal. The email exchange with Verenice ended with her advising me that she would "escalate it to the team". That was over 10 days ago. I am extremely frustrated, as I got NO prodict or service from Studypool in the form of homework assistance yet they have $65 of mine and don't seem AT ALL INTERESTED in refunding me.
I will be writing this up on the Better Business Bureau site if I don't receive a full refund in 1 month. td

When posting a question on Studypool, you get a tutor recommendation whilst having the option of selecting a tutor yourself.
Unfortunately, we do not grant refunds once a tutor has been assigned, if the tutor has worked on a question. The tutor deserves the funds to be transferred if they actually worked on your question.
If you go through, https://www.studypool.com/refundpolicy, you will find some reasons why we wonโt grant refunds.
Next time, if you are not satisfied with a tutorโs work, you must file a Withdrawal Appeal. You can appeal after the question's delivery time has elapsed with as much evidence as possible on the question's page conversation board.

I will email you directly but NO tutor was assigned and NO tutor worked on the question. Studypool sent me an email stating that the time had elapsed and no tutor picked up the question.
Since I got ZERO support for my question I should receive a full refund.
